Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification

The SQF system, overseen by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GSFI), provides a framework for companies to ensure product safety, quality, and integrity through a comprehensive set of requirements that are audited and certified annually. This certification ensures your products are manufactured under the most rigorous food safety protocols recognized globally.

The Fresh Factory has achieved SQF Food Safety Certification, with an average audit score of 98/100 over the last decade.

USDA Organic Certified

We are organic certified, meaning our facility complies with strict organic regulations for handling, processing, and packaging organic products.

This certification means your organic products can carry the USDA Organic seal, one of the most trusted labels in the marketplace. By partnering with a certified organic facility, you avoid the complexity and cost of certifying your own production space while gaining immediate access to the growing organic market.

OU-Kosher Certified

For kosher food suppliers, our facility is certified by the Orthodox Union (OU), the world’s largest and most recognized kosher certification organization. This kosher certification ensures that our ingredients, production processes, and facility operations meet strict kosher dietary laws.

As a result, products made in our facility can display the OU kosher symbol, which is trusted by millions of consumers worldwide.

Non-GMO Compliant Facility

Our manufacturing facilities are Non-GMO Project approved, showcasing our commitment to a transparent, natural, non-GMO food system. This allows products made in our facility to bear the butterfly label, which is sought out by a third of North American shoppers.

Certified Gluten-Free

Gluten-free certification requires dedicated production protocols, rigorous cleaning procedures, and regular testing to prevent cross-contamination. We have achieved certification from the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO).

The gluten-free market continues to grow, with 11% of Millennials and almost as many Gen Z consumers saying they follow a gluten-free diet. Partnering with our GFCO-certified facility enables you to confidently reach these consumers.

Light or lite	One-third fewer calories of the usual food and half the fat of the usual food
Healthy	Low fat, low saturated fat, less than 480 mg sodium, less than 95 mg cholesterol, and at least 10% DV of vitamins A, C, D, iron, protein, calcium, fiber, or potassium. Food does not need to be low in total fat, but must have mostly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
Gluten-free, no gluten, free of gluten, or without gluten	Less than 20 parts per million of gluten
Low calorie	Less than 40 calories
Low cholesterol	Less than 20 milligrams of cholesterol and 2 grams or less of saturated fat
Low sodium	Less than 140 milligrams of sodium
Reduced	At least 25% less of the specified nutrient or calories than the usual product
